Hi guys, I’m an 18 yr old male who has recently got his motorcycle licence(familliar story?) I have just bought a 1997 candy teal across and would like to thank you for keeping this information going for people like me who are short on cash but have a basic mechanical knoledge.

I am looking at a Suzuki Across that has 55,000 km`s on the clock which the dealer here in Cape Town says he imported from Japan. The bike looks in quite good condition…….but I have no knowledge of the model and the agents dont seem to know much about it either. Could you tell me if there is anything radically wrong with this model that I should be warned about? Ken
